ABOUT US About Ginika Ezeoke

Ms. Ginika Ezeoke is a seasoned legal practitioner with over 15 years expertise in litigation and
corporate law. With a proven track record of success in both courtroom advocacy and corporate
advisory roles, she brings a unique blend of legal expertise and strategic insight to every legal
concern. Renowned for meticulousness in diverse legal matters, she is known for attention to
detail, ability to formulate innovative legal strategies tailored to the specific needs of each client,
skilled negotiation, effective litigation techniques, and being adept at achieving favorable
outcomes both in and out of the courtroom.

She has served a wide array of clients, from multinational corporations to individuals, adeptly
handling complex legal issues like contract disputes, commercial litigation, regulatory
compliance, as well as mergers and acquisitions. She has provided advisory services to
regulatory agencies in telecommunications, trade, investments, and energy – on the extent of
their powers – and successfully defended corporations facing statutory allegations.

She currently practices law at the intersection of law and technology and is the recipient of the
2023 Ian Kerr Fellowship for law and technology. She is versatile in analyzing complex legal
concerns associated with the use of technology, including data privacy, ethics of artificial
intelligence, addressing human rights concerns in the use of technology, and liability concerns
in the deployment of technology.

With an LL.B from the University of Abuja, an LL.M from the University of Lagos and an LL.M in
Law and Technology from the University of Ottawa, Canada, Ms. Ezeoke is a Member of the
Nigerian Bar Association, and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of
Nigeria. She is committed to being at the forefront of legal developments, legal scholarship and
staying abreast of industry advancements. She regularly contributes to the legal community
through scholarly articles, some of which include addressing harms of social media to children,
viability of blockchain technology in addressing privacy concerns of big data, the impact of the
digital trade protocol on promoting trade in Africa within the African Continental Free Trade Area
Agreement.
